Joe Rogan is the absolute King of Podcasts. For over a decade now (starting on December 24, 2009) he’s had his show The Joe Rogan Experience where he has interviewed athletes, politicians, scientists, actors, entertainers, business legends and many more in his long-from podcasts. Among his guests were Bernie Sanders, Elon Musk (twice!), Kanye West, Edward Snowden, the CEO of Twitter, and other world-class champions from their field of work.
It’s absolutely fascinating to me how this man is able to lead a conversation with just anybody (for 2 hours or longer!) – he has (at least basic) knowledge on almost everything and if he doesn’t, he knows how to ask the right questions. And you can tell that he’s incredibly well prepared.
Joe Rogan is intellectual & super intelligent while still being super cool and authentic and manages to tickle facts, philosophy, science and anecdotes from personal and professional life out of his guests.

“Sleep is your super power.”
Probably my most favourite episode from the podcast is the one with Matthew Walker, a neuroscientist and sleep researcher. In his conversation with Joe Rogan, he reveals information about sleep, the incredible importance of it and what science says about how your sleep quantity and quality impacts your life, health & performance.
This episode is intellectually demanding, but without being overwhelming and easy to understand even if you don’t have a scientific background (like me).
I highly recommend you check it out!
Another episode that I enjoyed a lot is the one where Joe Rogan makes Elon Musk smoke a joint with him (after which Tesla’s stocks fell by 9% – coincidence?). Of course, I like it not just for that, but for all the insights that I’ve taken away from this weird but brilliant man.
3 Reasons Why
There are many reasons why I think you would absolutely benefit from listening to this podcast. But if the following three reasons don’t convince you, I don’t know what will.
Educational & Entertaining
the podcasts contain just the right amount of education and entertainment.
more than 1,500 episodes
If you’re looking for some type of series, this is something you won’t run out of quickly, I can guarantee this. The amount of content that Joe Rogan puts out there is just insane.
Long-form episodes
His podcasts are long form (and by long, I mean long – I don’t think there’s any podcast below a duration of 2h!).
